What kind of working environment that Union Label provides before printing?

The pre-printing department of Union Label is actually a combination of output and plate making company .Except running the popular vector graphic and photo retouch software(Illustrator,Photo shop…) in MAC&PC , we also have the high-level scanners and the screen output equipment. The most important part is that we have full-experienced and cordial professional stuff that you can count on to deal with you're your precious files. |

Is it possible to print if I have no digital file, but I have the sample of stickers? |

We could only transfer the content of the sample to digital file through the high-level scanners, and adjust it in vector and image part after detail analysis. But usually because of the images and printing quality of the sample, leads to a difference between the file and the sample. That would affect the final printing quality, so that we would suggest our clients not to use this way. |

How to make sure the color I want? |

Our sales persons usually would find out the colors that clients want while consultation is taking place. Normally we would follow the standard of progressive proofs and assist with digital plate making while using CYMK to print; for the special color we would print according to the Pantone standard swatches, or the swatches that clients offer. Due to different material and printing characters, the chromatic aberration would be ranging in ±5%~15%.Please don't use the colour from the consumer jet printer or the PC monitor as reference. |

What do I need to provide if I want to print the bar code?

Please inform us about the standard form of the bar code (for example: Code-128 , Ean-13 ....)and the number of the bar code. We would arrange the position and the color of the bar code and give you proper suggestion according to the announcement of GS1. |

If the bar code is an image file, would this affect the result of scanning after printing? |

It is possible! If the original image file isn't clear enough or wrong color arrangement, the scanning result would be affected. Therefore if there is no special request, we would remake the bar code and offer the proper suggestions to lower the problems. |

Could I use the images that downloaded from Internet to print? |

For the transfer speed, most of the images on Internet are low pixel type,so they are not good materials to print. Usually the original pixel of the image for printing must be over 350dpi in order to avoid the jaggies and blur. We would suggest you to use a professional image database, or ask our staff to use our own image database to design for you. |

Could I use the photos taken from DC to be printing material? |

Basically. yes! But there is different quality using each different digital camera. The pixel is not only the main reference, the diaphragm and lens also matter. So when you want to use your digital files, please give the files to our pre-print staff. They will give you their best suggestion. |
